Our goal is to compete at a high level while representing Southwest in a positive way and building strong sportsmanship, improving our fishing skills, and representing Southwest High School with pride, hard work, and integrity.

The Southwest Fishing Club is built on a strong culture of sportsmanship, pride, and hard work that shapes every member both on and off the water. We believe that fishing is more than just a competition—it’s about respect for nature, respect for other teams, and respect for ourselves. Sportsmanship is shown through how we compete fairly, congratulate others on their success, and represent our school with integrity no matter the outcome. Pride comes from wearing our team colors, representing Southwest High School, and striving to improve every time we hit the water. Hard work is at the center of everything we do, from practicing techniques and learning new strategies to early morning tournaments and long days on the lake. Together, these values create a team that not only competes at a high level but also builds character, discipline, and lifelong skills.
